The National Wine Marathon is one of the largest leisure and sporting events in Hungary. This year participants, including employees of evopro, ran and cycled through a total of 2057 km in 10 days – accompanied by a Modulo bus.

The number of participants in the 2nd National Wine Marathon has surpassed 23 thousand, of which about 40 were representing evopro. Which is not surprising considering that many sport enthusiast employees of evopro are also members of the company's sports club whose goal is to foster and support regular sporting activities. The event combines not just Hungarian sports, Hungarian wines, and the Hungarian countryside, but it also raises awareness for sustainability and e-mobility. Which is why Modulo, the increasingly popular, multiple international award-winner electric bus that was designed and manufactured in Hungary, has also joined the National Wine Marathon. At key locations the public could take a closer look at the composite, modular structure bus, and at some sections they could also try it out.

As the main sponsor of the National Wine Marathon, evopro has also offered to install a rapid charging station worth HUF 1 million at the town with the most registrants to the event. The winner of the “Special Event for Towns” was Bátaszék from a total of 123 towns, and with this it also won the right to be the official start and finish line for next year's National Wine Marathon.

The final press conference of the race was hosted by the Törley sparkling wine winery, where Attila Bala, program manager of the National Wine Marathon highlighted that the creation of this new genre of community experience promotes both Hungarian sports and Hungarian wines, and it also raises Hungary's image as a tourist attraction.
