Students from the Industrial Secondary School of Komárno had a visit to the Budapest headquarters of evopro for the fifth time. Six students of the school were granted an opportunity by the “Erasmus+” education and training program to gain practical experience abroad in their field of study.

Preparations for the program already begin months earlier when students apply for the limited seats, and based on their academic achievements and performances at professional competitions they get picked for the program. During their two week long stay the students learned the basics of PLC and HMI programming. The tasks this year were sufficiently complex: creating the control program for a Fischertechnik production line model with a Siemens S7-319 PLC on a TIA Portal V14 platform, and creating HMI visualizations with TIA WINCC V14 software.

During their time in Budapest the youngsters gained not only practical knowledge in their chosen field, but they also got better as a team in the new environment.
